Process Definition

The Control Procurements Process involves the establishment of procurement relationships, monitoring of contracts, and the implementation of changes related to vendor relationships and contract performance.  The key benefit of this process is that it ensures that buyer's and seller's meet their performance expectations within the bounds of the procurement contracts.

Process Assessment

The control procurement process involves change control, procurement performance review, audits, reports, payment systems, claims, and record management.  This process exists to ensure all contracted parties meet their contracted obligation.  Project management is tasked with monitoring and controlling the procurement process and all agreed to contracts.  Maintaining a vigilant watch over procurement performance provides another level of risk control and quality assurance.
