Introduction - The planning process group is the bringing together of all required processes to create a complete project scope and project plan of attack to accomplish the objective(s).  The plan must include sub plans, such as the scope of work, budget, quality control, human resource, communications, risk management, and procurement plans.   Once created, each sub-plan is integrated into one complete project plan.

 

The Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide) identifies the processes outputs to be:

  • Scope
  • Time
  • Cost
  • Quality
  • Communications
  • Human Resources
  • Risks
  • Procurements
  • Stakeholder Engagement
