Process Definition

This process documents project procurements decisions, specifying the approach, and identifying potential sellers.  The process highlights whether the organization (buyer) needs to acquire outside support, and if so, how to get it and how much support will be needed.

Process Assessment

I have never seen a procurement management plan, however hiring additional help is the direction many aircraft maintenance units are heading.  One of the larger A-10 units at David-Monthan AFB, maintenance unit, has been entirely contracted out by civilians.  This apparently is cost savings for the Air Force for an aircraft about to retire.

1. Activity resource requirements (Input): this artifact was taken from a homework assignment from PMGT 614.  This artifact is a procurement checklist for constructing a power plant.  This check list is an input for the Planning Procurement Management process.

2. Change request (output): this homework assignment was taken from PMGT 614, it utilized a change request log and then shows how to properly report it.  This is an output for Planning Procurement Management process.

3. Procurement Management Plan (Output): the Group Project from PMGT 614.  This was the Procurement Management Plan that was developed through the course and is also another output for plan procurement management process.
