4.4 Monitor and Control Project Work
This is the process of tracking, reviewing and reporting progress to meet the deliverables in the project plan. The project manager will take these metrics and then recommend improvements for effective control measures.
In my work organization, my job mostly consisted of tracking and reporting aircraft maintenance. I would review metrics and consolidate to a specific status report which would presented to supervision on a monthly basis. Project managers could then make adjustments by reviewing these reports.
