4.3 Direct and Manage Project Work

Process Definition

This process is the execution of activities carried out to develop the project plan.  The PMBOK states that it is the work defined in the project management plan to achieve the projects objectives.  This process is the management of the project.

Process Assessment

If the planning phase was done correctly, managing should be somewhat simple.  I have experience with managing and monitoring programs.  If the planning phase is clear and precise, it enables project managers to keep the project on the path.
