Process Definition

 This process deals with contracts and obtaining seller responses.  This process is the alignment of internal and external expectations from the stakeholder.   The project team will receive and review bids from qualified sellers to perform work on the project.

Process Assessment

I have witnessed procurements through my Air Force career.  Much of aircraft maintenance is going towards civilian contractors.  Overall, it is cheaper to  hire outside companies to maintain training and operational tempo.  The only procurement management experience that I have is what I learned in PMGT 614.

1. Procurement Management Plan (Input): The bicycle project from PMGT 614.  The procurement management plan is an input for the Conduct Procurement process.

2. Analytical Technique (Tools and Techniques):  an essay that discusses effective analytical techniques of this process.  This would include lessons learned and research.

3. Procurement Change Request (Output):  homework assignment taken from PMGT 614; Change requests will occur and can alter the procurement in progress. This is an output of the conducting procurements process.
