Hello, my name is Benjamin Srock and I would like to welcome you to my PMGT-690 Masters in Project Management ePortfolio.
It is hard to believe the journey towards my graduate degree is almost over. I must admit I was never more than an average student in high school and never really thought of myself as a "college student". When school ended, I simply went to work. Twenty six years later, in 2010, I found myself serving as the Chief Quality Control Manager for the Peace Dragon Program in Baghdad, Iraq. With nothing to do in spare time, a seven inch Acer notebook, and great internet connections, I had finally run out of excuses for not working towards my degree. With the help of my wife Christine, I found myself in my first class and the rest, as they say, is history.
Sitting here, I can't help but remember the instructors and professors who played such an integral part in my understanding and success. While each has had a profound impact on my life and academic understanding, Mr. Robert Dodge Ph.D. was my professor for MGMT-314 and took the time to push and challenge me in ways that took me far from my comfort zone. To all other professors, I am honored to have met you all.
I currently work for Textron Aviation and manage aircraft maintenance and modification projects. I hold certificates and ratings for Airframe & Powerplant Technician, Inspection Authorization (IA), Private Pilot, NCATT Avionics License, FCC General Radio Telephone License, and Non-destructive Testing (NDT) Level 2 Eddy-Current and Ultrasonic Techniques.
Thank you for visiting my ePortfolio. Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated.
