Once the initiation, planning and execution of project process have been accomplished its time to monitor and control these process to facilitate the greatest degree of efficiency possible.  The Monitoring and Controlling Project process is where each or the executed processes is reviewed, tracked, reported on and updated, to meet the project objectives laid out in the Project Management Plan.  Stakeholders benefit greatly from this process by receiving updates on project progress, budgets, schedule and scope changes and updates.  In the Monitoring and Controlling Process Group the Knowledge Areas and processes are:
