Process Definition

This process involves monitoring the progress of the schedule and to make sure the baseline plan is on track.  The project manager must make sure everything is on track and on time.  Also if there are any changes to the plan, all other plans must reflect accordingly.

Process Assessment

Controlling the schedule, is something that could get overlooked and where project managers can get complacent.  There are just too many variables relating to the project that can effect the schedule.  Reviewing milestones and deliverables should be done a least once a week.

1. Project Schedule (Input): This was the bicycle schedule from PMGT 614.  The project schedule is one of the main inputs for Control Schedule process.

2. Resource Optimization Techniques (Tools and Techniques): This artifact was taken from a homework assignment from PMGT 501.  It was to show how the project team could reduce time of the project by arranging or managing resources differently.

3. Project Management Software (Tools and Techniques):  this is a short essay to explain one of the tools that project managers can use to help in controlling the schedule; Gantt Charts
