Process Definition

Communication is one of these most vital aspects of project management.  The initial stages of Plan Communication Management, its important to identify stakeholders and their roles in the project.  This planning process then determines the information that needs to be communicated.

Process Assessment

I have never had the opportunity to plan a communication management plan.  My only experience was from PMGT 502.  However, in my line of work, it is critical to communicate with all stakeholders and make sure the right people are getting the key information.

1. Stakeholder register (Input): taken from PMGT 502 this input identifies all stakeholders for adequately planning the communication management plan.

2. Communication Methods (Tools and Techniques): this was a communication matrix that was taken from a homework assignment from PMGT 502.

3. Communication Management Plan (Output): this communication plan was the group project form PMGT 502.  It shows all the active parts and adequately describes the output for this process.
